As a registered NDIS provider, we can support you no matter how your plan is managed. We accept all three funding management types, plus private payment options.
Understanding Your Options
Your NDIS plan can be managed in three different ways, each with its own benefits. You can also mix management types for different parts of your plan.
NDIA Managed
(Agency Managed)
The NDIA pays your providers directly through their portal. You can only use registered NDIS providers (like us). This is the simplest option with no paperwork required from you.
Benefits:
- We claim directly from the NDIS portal
- No paperwork or invoices for you
- Automatic payment processing
Best for: People who want simplicity and don't need non-registered providers.
Plan Managed
(Recommended)
A Plan Manager handles all the financial paperwork for you. You can use both registered and non-registered providers, giving you maximum flexibility and choice.
Benefits:
- We send invoices to your Plan Manager
- Monthly budget reports and tracking
- Use registered and non-registered providers
- No need to manage invoices yourself
Best for: People who want flexibility and choice without the administrative burden.
Self Managed
(You Manage)
You have complete control over your funding. You pay providers directly and claim reimbursement from the NDIS through the portal.
Benefits:
- We invoice you directly
- Maximum choice of providers
- Full control over payments
- Use any provider (registered or not)
Best for: People who want full control and are comfortable managing invoices and claims.

- How do I know which management type I have?
- Check your NDIS plan document or log into the NDIS portal. Your plan will clearly state whether each support category is NDIA-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed. You can also call the NDIA on 1800 800 110.
- Can I change how my plan is managed?
- Yes! You can request a plan review at any time to change your management type. Many people start with NDIA-managed and later switch to plan-managed for more flexibility.
- Can I mix management types?
- Absolutely! You can have different parts of your plan managed differently. For example, you might have Core Supports plan-managed and Capacity Building NDIA-managed.
- Does plan management cost extra?
- Plan management is a funded support in your plan, so it doesn't cost you anything extra. The cost comes from your Capacity Building budget, not your Core Supports.
